MAY UPDATE
Prize money for the main Bob Field Trophy event is confirmed as:
1st = £1,000, 2nd = £500, 3rd = £250, 4th = £100, 5th = £60, 6th = £40, 7th = £30, 8th = £20.
Prize money for the main event is being sponsored by Phil Keogh (retired builder) with additional support from McGarrigles Estate Agents.
There will be a raffle with the main prizes confirmed as two bikes to be kindly supplied by Brian Rourke Cycles and Urbanair.
Additional prizes to be confirmed.
Groove Racing have confirmed that they will be attending with the trade truck.
Trophies for the separate age groups will be sponsored by:
Mrs P Ashley, Ged Fisher, Fastlane, Love Not Money, McFall Salvages, Groove Racing and Foundation Cycling.
There are still opportunities for trophy sponsorship – get in touch if you are interested in finding out more: bobfieldgrands@live.co.uk
The format will run with novice racing on the Saturday along with plenty of open/gate practice, evening fun races and the C&K high jump competition.
Sunday will be the main race day starting at around 10am and concluding with the main Bob Field Trophy event.
Race fees will be:
£5 Novice, £10 Expert, £15 Payback.
The Bob Field Trophy fee will be £5 with all entry fees donated to the Macmillan Nurses – to race in the main event riders must have ridden a category during normal racing (16+ only). Registration for the trophy event can be done on the weekend up until 2pm on Sunday.
Camping will be charged at £10 for the weekend. Toilet facilities and security will be provided from Saturday-Sunday. Camping open from Friday afternoon till Sunday evening.
Car Parking will be £2 per vehicle.
Sunday race entry is by pre-registration only – payment must be made and attendance confirmed by 4pm on Saturday 21st August. Pre-race sheets, followed by moto sheets will be posted on Saturday evening (like a Euro). For those not arriving until Sunday morning all sheets will be posted online at a specific time on the Saturday evening for your inspection.
Payment is NOT essential at the time of registering prior to the event.
Payments can be made by cash, cheque or Paypal.

The format will run the same as the 2009 Grands with Novice & fun races on the Saturday. Sunday will be expert racing & the Bob Field Memorial Trophy.

15/16 Male
17+ Male
Masters 30+
7-9 Female
10-13 Female

15 & Under Cruiser
16+ Cruiser
